Reaching the Unreached for Christ!
The soul of India resides in its villages, where 69% of the total population, comprising over 833 million people, lives across 649,481 villages. These villages form a vital sector of agricultural production and are often regarded as the backbone of India’s economy. However, it is paramount to reach out to these underprivileged people who live in a vicious cycle of poverty and illiteracy, and often follow superstitious beliefs.
Recognizing the great opportunity to share the good news with the often neglected rural communities who do not have the chance to know about Christ’s love, our Church embarked on the mission of village evangelism in 2018. Initially reaching out to the rural and far-flung villagers in Tamil Nadu and our Church has ventured into almost all the districts of Tamil Nadu, predominantly Thiruvallur and its adjoining districts. Our teams have also reached other states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka.
Objectives
1. Engage in evangelism: Fulfilling the Great Commission by ensuring that every unreached person has the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ.
2. Reach out to unsaved rural people: Focus on villages where no churches are present.
3. Networking with village churches: Share the Gospel effectively within their communities and foster spiritual nourishment through our Village Ministry initiatives.
4. Create lasting impact: Plant new village churches to influence future generations.
5. Extend financial support: Aid in the construction of rural churches.
6. Our Village Ministries undertake several innovative initiatives to share the Gospel:

- Play-way methods of sharing the gospel with children

- Spiritual Counselling
- Prayer for Sickness and Deliverance from Demonic Possession
7. Our dedicated team members, driven by a passion for Christ, venture into the remotest villages, traversing challenging terrains to reach those who have yet to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, with the help of rented fully equipped vans.
8. As we continue to enlarge our coasts, our Village Ministry remains committed to our mission to “REACH A VILLAGE A MONTH” so that the power of salvation is unleashed in each of the 15,978 villages in Tamil Nadu, thereby saving thousands of scattered souls for Christ.
9. Despite several challenges and detrimental resistances from all quarters, our team endeavours to press towards accomplishing our mission with fervent determination and zeal to reach out to villages from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
